Every morning when we wake up we receive this amazing special present called: a NEW DAY. When our alarms go off, it’s symbolic to a reset button we have from the past 24 hours. But how do you go about that very moment when you wake up in the morning? Do you get excited and tell yourself “Today is going to be a great day” or do you immediately fall back toreminding yourself about all the negativities that took over the day before?.

Wanna know a little secret? The MOST important part of your day is those first few minutes when you wake up because that’s the time when you actively decide how and who you’re going to be for the next 24 hours.

They say “You are what you eat” and I SAY “You are what you SPEAK” because I strongly believe in the concept that what you speak and profess is what will become. What many of us don’t realize is just how powerful our thoughts are. If you start off your morning speaking and thinking that the day is going to be amazing, then all of the actions you do throughout that day will follow that mentality. Yet, if you start off your morning speaking and thinking negatively, then the mood for the rest of your day will be set just like that.

The thing is, we all have the ability to make each day amazing and great, even with the potential faults and negative moments that may arise. Yet it’s up to us to decide how we want to act and use up those new 24 hours we’ve been given.

So for this #MondayMotivation I want you to wake up with POSITIVE ENERGY telling yourself “Today IS going to be a GREAT day.” And once your intention for the day has been set, use this new positive mentality to act that way for the rest of the day. We really have the power to treat each day as a present and something to look forward to, but it’s up to us to decide if we want to live in that kind of day. So what kind of day are you gonna have?!
