Work Bxxth

workout fashion Working out can be annoying or tough. Trust me, it's like the last thing that I want to do... ever. But bathing suit (and Coachella) season is quickly approaching us and so that means that everyone will be putting that "go to the gym more often" New Year's Resolution into high swing as we all aspire to get ready and fit for this spring and summer. So what's the secret to getting me through all the pain, sweat, and trials of all the work that goes into making yourself look like the best in the game? The outfits of course. Fashion runs from every day glam to nightly outings to even one's workout regime. And for me, my main motivation for wanting to get up and work out is being able to feel cute in the process. With cheetahlicious pants, tanks with the most genius sayings ever made, and some staple fun bright colors in sports bras, running shoes, and jackets, today's post is dedicated to some of my fave brands that make me "Work Bxxch" on the daily.

Fashionlaine Friday

Britney Spears Work Bitch Before there were VMA performances like Miley Cyrus' (that peeps still can't stop talking about), there were ones like Britney Spears', where she really showed everyone how performances were done right (yes, I'm pretending like 2007's Gimme More doesn't exist...). So today's Fashionlaine Friday is dedicated to the Queen of Pop-- one of my absolute first inspirations. From "Baby One More Time" to "I'm A Slave 4 U", this girl was one of the first to rock it effortlessly in crop tops, teach us how to and what is a shimmy... and make us want fairy tattoos. Now coming back with yet another deliciously catchy hit "Work Bitch", while some may say Britney has lost it, this video gives us a glimpse into catching a taste of the old Britney that many us aspired so much to be. As my Bar Method teacher said in class yesterday "if Britney can go from shaved head to Vegas residency, anything is possible." How is that for some Friday motivational words?

And since we're on the topic of Britney, this performance from one of my fave of her tours (The Onyx Hotel) and one of my favorite of her songs ("The Hook Up") is such a must to see if you've never seen! I'm pretty sure I know this whole dance.
