Top Hats and Trousers

Top Hats 1 When I think of Fall, I think of Back to School and those fabulous GAP overalls that I would buy yearly to rock out into in front of my classmates. While many of us thought those days were behind us, I'm so glad to see that the overall/ romper look has returned back in action. Automatically falling in love with these solid long pant ones when I laid eyes on them, these black overalls are universal and perfect for everything from a casual day look to a more fancy night one, as well as ideal for any season we're in. I decided to make today's look a little more hipster, or a little more Heisenberg as many have been calling it, with one of my favorite top hats. With this LA fall where the weather is still not too chilly yet, this look of top hats and trousers with a short sleeve tee is perfect for keeping us in between the cool and warm weather times.

Summertime Sadness

I think these chilly nights that are lowkey creeping up on us LAers are the first signs to the fact that fall must be approaching. Still confused as I still feel myself burning up in a semi heatwave from time to time, I think I can finally say that I'm ready to let summer fall behind us and let fall takeover. Honestly, where is the time going though because I feel like just yesterday I was getting ready to embark on the start of summer and all that next few months were going to bring. And now with a blink of an eye, it's October in a week from now. Maybe it's the heatwave that has taken over the past few weeks or maybe it's simply because I think I'm actually running out of crop tops to wear, but I think for the first time in like ever, I'm actually ready to take on fall full force. To commemorate the end of summer, today's post features some pics of my adventures from Labor Day Weekend when I went to Paradise Cove in Malibu. I can't believe that was the first and last time I went to the beach all summer! I guess I know what's on the top of my to-dos for next year.

International Trendsetter

From Germany to San Diego to Los Angeles to New York, my inspiration of the day has been introducing everyone around the world with his style and grace. Always being subtle with his choices in clothing and never letting his outfits overpower his overall look, I've always been a huge fan of Milo and his style since day one. Being one that used to have loud and bright colors setting the tone of his ensembles, Milo has switched up his game, going back to the black and white basics and letting him and his style speak for themselves. With just a hint of plaid detail on the sleeves of his shirt and throwing on some Y-3s to make his outfit go from plain to extra swagged, what adds on to finalizing and perfecting this overall look is no doubt the cap that spells out the initials "IIA". Not typically a huge fan of wearing logos himself, Milo has co-founded the streetwear line IIA that combines his classy yet swagger ways, creating a cool and fun logo that everyone (including myself) is already wanting more of. Getting the attention of people like The Weeknd and only getting a brief taste of what's to come, I can definitely say that I'm excited to see the future for this international trendsetter.
