Handmade Bound

Today's post is super exciting because I get to introduce you to a online shop that's going to be all the rage and a total must-have in your wardrobe. A curator of the coolest handmade jewelry, Sashii is a website dedicated to showing off some of the most amazing and creative jewelry designers-- and letting you have a piece of their collection too! So many times we get connected to the jewelry we wear (I mean, once I find something I love, I pretty much wear it on repeat until no end), yet we never know the people or stories behind them. Thus, that's where Sashii swoops in and fills that void to give you a little bit of both!  Showcasing today just one of the brands on the site called BOUND.la by Emma Holland Denvir, Emma was inspired by architecture and 3D design which are effortlessly showcased in her collection... and made it something I was immediately obsessed with. Shop this whole look below and check out the rest of the designers here.

Gangster Chick

Gangster Chick I think the best part about fashion is the fact that it allows you to be whoever you want to be (I'm pretty sure that's why I celebrated Halloween for like a month-- I had a whole month of excuses to dress up and be whoever and whatever!). But on a typical day, if I'm feeling like a boho/hipster-- I just put on a floppy hat and a long dress and call it a day. Feeling like a prepster? I throw on a collared button up and some glasses and I'm good to go. I can always change who I am and express myself through different styles and clothes. And that fully goes with today's fall outfit which I have categorized as my "gangster chick" persona. Feeling like a little rebel with my LA fall beanie, leather vest, and combat boots, I obviously had to add my little Lainey flare with the jewelry and colored patterned pants to make this gangster chick still a Fashionlainer.

Love Me or Hate Me

Love Me Hat Me There are just some moments in life that one experiences while shopping that can be described simply as: "instant purchase"-- those moments where you automatically see something that makes you head directly to the cash register and bust out the credit card. Many of times I have mentioned my constant love for graphic tees and tops. So obviously when I saw this big oversized sweater that spelled out "love" in the front, I thought it was cute. But when I saw that it said "hate" on the back, the top went from cute to I-need-to-take-it-out-of-this-store-with-me-right-now. And for those of you who remember the hot second reign of the intelligent and wise Lady Sovereign, you can imagine how I was even more sold on this sweater when I automatically thought of this song (and now have it stuck in my everytime I throw this sweater on). Really into layering oversized shirts or sweaters with skater skirts for this fall, I added a pair of my best military boots to complete my look.
